In the space of just 12 months, Rebūke has established himself as one of the most exciting artists we’ve seen in years, thanks to his innovative soundclash of house, techno, and rave.

Rebūke – Rattle (Drumcode Records)

We got our first taste of the Irishman’s exhilarating talents when he debuted on Truesoul back in April with ’50 First Raves.’ His unique alchemy of house, techno and rave have seen him become one of the breakout stars of 2019 and ensured he’s stayed firmly on the radar of Adam Beyer

His track ‘Along Came Polly’ was a certified gamechanger. Initially believed to be “too weird” for any label to sign, the track built up a legion of grassroots support after videos of Jamie Jones playing it went viral on social media. A release on Hot Creations followed, then a Beatport #1 and then an Essential New Tune, as industry and ravers alike buzzed over the young Irishman’s unique sound, inspired by classic ‘90s rave records from Belgium, Italy and UK, melded with future-facing house and techno.

The sense of something truly fresh created a special spark at Rebūke’s gigs and amongst fans of his sound. An exuberance and energy reminiscent of that original tribalistic rave ethos. Across nine shows throughout his native Ireland and the UK, his Erā tour will celebrate and foster this spirit, with memorable personal touches along the way. Rebūke has chosen local Irish talent Luciid and Alt 8 to play alongside him at Erā gigs, both artists espousing the same no-holds-barred passion for music and the desire to share it with a tight-knit community.

These events will continue Rebūke’s years of promoting and organising parties in his hometown of Letterkenny where he held his Outhouse events and hosted the likes of Solardo, Camelphat, Alan Fitzpatrick, Ejeca and Huxley in recent times.

“One thing I’ve noticed at all of my Irish and UK shows is this really inclusive vibe and this feeling that everyone is part of a movement. This is what I want for the Erā parties; everyone is welcome and everyone’s a part of it. The parties belong to all of us. This is our time. This is our era.” — Rebūke

The tour kicks off in Galway on 31 October, before dates in CorkNewcastleBirminghamSwanseaNottinghamGlasgow and Sheffield, before winding up with a mentalist gig in Letterkenny on 22 December.
