QUIX’s latest future bass hit “Riot Call (feat. Nevve)” receives six outstanding remixes from an array of international producers. Swedish DJ trio BROHUG infuses the track with energetic bass house drops, while American producer AFK morphs it into an edgy dubstep classic. Both Ian Munro, a budding talent from New Zealand, and WAVO contest winner Snuf take similar routes, each commanding the song with their unique trap flair. Remixes from Lex Inception and Chris Jake round out the package.
Over the past year, QUIX has taken the electronic music world by storm and his success is unstoppable. He released his debut EP Heaps Cool this spring, featuring singles “Four Letter Lie,” “Riot Call,” and “Lucy’s Place.” The six-track record was praised by Dancing Astronaut for its “intrepid creativity and mastery of sonic construction” and earned additional accolades from Billboard, Mixmag, DJ Mag and more.
With worldwide tours and notable stops at SXSW, Miami Music Week, Middlelands, EDC Las Vegas, Paradiso, and Electric Forest, QUIX has become one of the most in-demand acts on the festival circuit. 2017 has seen him branch outside of the electronic music scene, most notably with his highly-anticipated single “Rat Traps,” featuring collaborators Gucci Mane and Young Sidechain, which premiered on his Diplo and Friends guest mix. Additionally, QUIX was featured on UZ’s new hit “Lobby” alongside hip-hop artist Chaz French and he remixed Bok Nero and Jahlil Beats’ “No Problems.”
