In 2014, underground house aficionados and DJs Seth Troxler and The Martinez Brothers joined forces to create one of dance music’s most unique labels, Tuskegee. A label of cultural heritage, Tuskegee, is focused on giving a platform to Black, Latin, and minority artists and has seen releases from Detroit’s Omar-S, William Djoko, Filsonik and more.

This Summer the two forces behind the label will come together for a very special open-to-close open-air B2B session in New York at the Brooklyn Mirage on June 24th, presented by Outpost, an event series curated by award-winning nightclub Output in Brooklyn. It’s a rare chance to catch two of house music’s most important contemporary acts play an extended set, and catch the unique chemistry that exists between the three.

The past two years have been a whirlwind for the Martinez Brothers, they have been named the #1 DJs in the world by Mixmag, collaborated with fellow Nuyorican and house don Louie Vega, produced hip-hop records, and claimed a reputation for marathon sets, like their recent 32-hour-long session with Marco Carola at Space Miami. This Summer, the Brothers will play a slew of festival and club dates throughout the world, including closing Detroit’s legendary Movement festival in May. Seth Troxler is one of underground dance music’s most influential DJs. Since emerging as a teenager out of Detroit, Troxler has become a hugely influential and forward-thinking DJ and producer. His tracks have graced the likes of Spectral, Wagon Repair, Crosstown Rebels and Wolf + Lamb, and he’s remixed Fever Ray, David Lynch, Blood Orange, Tracy Thorn and Matthew Dear to name a few. His newest EP, This is Then – Finally Physical out on ‘Play It Say It’ next month, is a retrospective project collating some of his unreleased works between 2006 and 2010.
