Neon knights, cyber-wenches, and amusement park rides are just a few of the exciting things you’ll see this May as Insomniac and C3 combine the energy of a Music Festival with the vibrant culture and art of a Renaissance Fair. Taking place in Todd Mission, Texas, home of the massive Texas Renaissance Festival which boasts over 500,000 attendees each year, Middlelands is slated to take international audiences into a different realm with its futuristic medieval theme and world class performing artists.
The lineup for the debut festival has been announced with headliners Major Lazer, Bassnectar, Kaskade, Marshmello, and Galantis and a supporting lineup consisting of over 150 artists. To start getting familiar with this vast lineup, Insomniac has posted an official Middlelands Playlist with over 111 tracks to help bring you up to speed.
In support of the inaugural year, Ephwurd, the popular duo consisting of dubstep heavyweight Datsik and producer Bais Haus, have also put together a Middlelands mix, consisting of an entertaining, medieval take on bass heavy electronic music featuring some of the artists set to perform this May.
