House veteran, Matthew Warren, delivers his new two song EP on Brobot Records. The two tracks, “The Rough Life” and “Hear Me Out” feature Matthew’s signature old school Chicago style with punchy kicks, infectious basslines, and hip-hop samples. Perfect for every mix, this new release will take you back while getting you moving on today’s dance floors.

Originally from New Jersey, Matthew has been producing and DJing for almost 25 years. Formerly a member of the duo Trendroid, Matthew Warren now produces solo. In another lifetime, Matthew Warren cut his teeth within the outlandish NY scene of the early 90’s. It began with a wild rave he threw at his suburban Catholic university, with over 3,000 party youth in attendance. Soon after he was DJing under alias “Matt Edwards” at the notorious Limelight, Tunnel, and later at the legendary Twilo. Matthew received wide support from DJ’s of all genres – including Carl Cox who tapped Matt’s single “Rumba Magic” as his tune of the 2004 Winter Music Conference in Miami. Matt eventually had a hiatus from the music scene – but he returned in a big way in 2015. He released a hot collaboration with Blaqwell, “Set It Off” on Sonny Wharton’s Whartone imprint. The release cracked Top 20 on DMC’s Miami edition of their Hype Chart, it was chosen for Beatport’s Top 10 “Must Hear House” chart, and it reached #51 on the Beatport House chart.
