Phoenix-based artist Lo Key returns with a brand new offering “Dance with the Devil” following his hit single “Ain’t Coming Back”
“Dance with the Devil” takes you on a groove-induced journey filled with jazzy notes of saxophone and electro-swing. Tempted by drugs and alcohol, the single likely will persuade you to take a dance with the devil.
Lo Key – Dance With The Devil (feat. Linds)
“Every song that I write shares an experience that I’ve gone through in life so my fans, if they choose to connect with me on a deeper level, can confide in my project and share a more personal connection. This track was about a point in my life when I came out of a very unhealthy and toxic relationship while still dealing with immense problems at home, how I turned to
partyingto attempt to make myself feel better and truly “Danced with the Devil.” This song is the bright, upbeat and melodic journey of the darkness that I experienced,” Lo Key explains.
Based on the God of Trickery, Loki, Lo Key symbolizes the idea of turning ugly things into something beautiful. The idea that we all put on a facade to hide the feelings we want to show, but are too afraid to do so. The DJ’s music touches a special feeling within his fans, where they can relate to the artist and his beats on an emotional level and give them an optimistic “light at the end of the tunnel” perspective to the darkness they might be encountering.
Before announcing the name Lo Key, the artist went by a different alias and has performed alongside some of the biggest names in EDM, such as, Marshmello, Jauz, Knife Party, Ookay, Steve Aoki, among others. He has also performed on some of the biggest stages, like, Life in Color opening for Zeds Dead.
