In the past few years, electronic has crept into America’s top 40 becoming a driving force for how modern pop music is made. And while creating pop hits with electronic beats isn’t anything new, Melbourne-based electronic duo Two Can have come to the table with something sounding entirely fresh. “Got Habits” has all the makings of an electro-pop chart-topper without relying on cliches that would make the track sound tired and predictable. Tie-in a heart-pounding beat for the chorus (which sounds influenced by Flume in the best possible way) and you have a genre-bending anthem primed for airwaves and festival main stages.

Of the new track, Two Can says:  “Got Habits started with a piano and a vocal, pop sensibilities meet everything we love about producing electronic music and we’re excited by the fact that this genre-defying song leads to new territory for us – it’s what we believe making music is all about, enjoying the freedom of artistic expression and breaking new ground.”

Two Can have sprouted remixes for the likes of David Guetta & Sia and Galantis & Throttle, and now fans are getting a listen of the groups newest original track.

Having previously performed at St Kilda Music Festival, Groovin The Moo and Your Paradise to national club tours and being billed as supports for acts such as Dua Lipa, Alison Wonderland, KLP, Paces and Kilter; not to mention recently being handpicked to produce the soundtrack to LEVI‘s new diversity campaign, Two Can’s music is primed to race up the U.S. charts.

This track will definitely make the rounds this summer and I’m completely OK with it. Besides, don’t we all wanna get high in an Uber?
