Gramatik has kept himself busy all throughout the first half of 2017 with a number of new projects and collaborations, following the release of his latest album, Epigram, and subsequent remix EP’s last year. It’s certainly not an easy thing to do when you have to balance studio work with a packed tour schedule that takes you all over the world and to some of the biggest summer festivals out there. But the Slovenian producer seems to have hit a stride as he is regularly releasing new material while also joining the line-up of huge events like EDC Las Vegas and Lollapalooza.

Just before his epic return to a packed Red Rocks amphitheater with a revamped stage production in June, he released a new single “Recovery” with long-time collaborator Eric Krasno. It was a follow-up to the first taster of what he’s been working on, “As We Proceed,” the long-awaited new single with GRiZ that was released in January, and a remix of Flume’s track “Wall Fuck” which he made in collaboration with young producer on the rise, Ramzoid.

Now fans can expect a new batch of tracks Gramatik cooked up during his “recovery time,” the result of a pretty bad leg injury at the end of 2016. After sweet-sounding summer vibes of the last single, his brand new “Voyager Twins” finds him venturing back into bass-heavier territories. To add extra intrigue, the track is a co-production with the newest mysterious character that hit the DJ circuits, Galactic Marvl. Aside from being connected with the well-known Armada record label, not much is known about this galactic traveller who transcends the boundaries of genre. Whoever Galactic Marvl may be, hee or she looks to be very well versed in crafting tracks perfectly suited for laid-back listening sessions and big festival stages alike. This collaboration obviously leans to the latter, and is bound to rock the crowds all summer long and beyond.

“Voyager Twins” is out July 21st via Gramatik’s label Lowtemp Records, and stay tuned for the official “Voyager Twins” music video soon to come. In addition, you can catch Gramatik live around the world, including the return of his Re:Coil stage design on October 21st at Paris’ Zenith.
