Do you live in Los Angeles (or plan to visit there)? Have you purchased your ticket to Secret Project yet?

If not…you’re making a big mistake. HUGE.

Pretty Woman Big Mistake Secret Project

Pretty Woman jokes aside, us here at WOTN are very excited about Secret Project. LA has never seen a techno festival like this, and leave it up to Factory 93, a pioneer for the electronic scene in LA and the experts of immersive experiences, and festival veterans Insomniac to put it all together. Secret Project is basically like a neighborhood block party if that block party was soundtracked by the world’s best techno DJs and food and beverage was handled by David Chang’s Majordōmo and A Club Called Rhonda at Apotheke.

The festival comes to Chinatown Los Angeles October 13 – 14, and tickets somehow aren’t sold out yet. If you love techno and you live in LA (or like, San Diego) grab those tickets now.

If you still, somehow, need a little more convincing, here’s what we’re excited about:

LITERALLY EVERY TECHNO ARTIST YOU’D WANT TO SEE

When we said “world’s best techno DJs” we weren’t exaggerating.

Carl Cox? Check

Marcel Dettmann? Check

Bicep? Check

Dixon GOING BACK TO M’F’in BACK WITH Ame? CHECK CHECK CHECK

To be honest I had a really hard time picking a short list – just take a look at this line-up:

Secret Project LA line-up

It’s everyone who’s ever been on your checklist. And these artists won’t disappoint. But really that Dixon B2B Ame set is going to be straight fire.

AN EPICURIOUS CELEBRATION OF DTLA

For attendees looking to spring for a VIP pass, they get to experience the world-renowned cuisine of David Chang and dine at his Majordōmo restaurant, which Eater called ‘the most exciting restaurant to open in America in 2018’ and has earned top nods from GQ, The New Yorker, LA Magazine and more. I have never eaten at Majordōmo but it sounds fancy and amazing.

LA’s A Club Called Rhonda will also be bringing their poly-sexual dance party to Apotheke, which has earned nationwide praise for its unique mixology program. I HAVE been to Apotheke, and I can confirm their cocktails (and extensive list of Absinthe) are top-notch. Worth IT.

AND IT’S ACTUALLY A REALLY GOOD DEAL

Maybe it’s New York City that’s ruined me but I was genuinely surprised by how affordable tickets are. Two-day tickets are $160, or $400 for VIP. For what you’re getting – a glorious weekend of techno, food, and art – it’s worth every penny.

So do yourself a favor and grab your tickets to Secret Project.
