JX RIDERS releases their new track “Hiccup,” out now via Cherrytree Records. Laced with Sisterwife’s (formally Shiny Toy Guns), rich vocals, “Hiccup” flaunts a stomping bassline, crisp percussive elements and a striking hook that distinguishes their signature sound. The new record is a strong display of the duo’s dynamic producing skills and is set to build on the success of their previous single, “Sweet Dreams,” which hit no.1 on the Billboard Dance Chart.

“We were going for that feeling that we first got when hearing those early house and rap records – a raw and immediate reaction,” shares Audé.

“When you put on a Mr. Lee twelve inch or a Mantronix record,” adds Kierszenbaum. “The feeling just overtakes you. It’s kind of like a hiccup.”

JX RIDERS is the collective name of two accomplished producers – Dave Audé and Martin Kierszenbaum – who’ve joined forces to mine their deep-rooted love for house music. Dave Audé has scored 117 no. 1 records on the Billboard Dance Club Chart, co-written and co-produced Selena Gomez’s Top 5  “Kill ‘Em With Kindness” and won a GRAMMY for his remix of Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk” ft. Bruno Mars. Martin Kierszenbaum has written and produced songs for Madonna, Robyn, and Lady Gaga including 4 songs on the latter’s debut album, The Fame, for which he was nominated for a GRAMMY. Kierszenbaum also co-wrote t.A.T.u.’s “All The Things She Said” which spent 4 weeks at no. 1 in the U.K. The two musicians first met when Audé remixed that very song. They quickly became fast musical friends, sharing tips on drum sounds, recording techniques and (especially) synths. They soon discovered that the first keyboard they’d each ever owned was a Roland JX-3P. When they decided to make music together, they fittingly named their duo JX RIDERS.
