This Independence Day Weekend techno and house fans can rejoice as Berlin’s legendary HYTE Festival returns to NYC for its third year, hosting a stellar lineup of international DJ heavyweights, as well as some of New York’s finest, with Apollonia, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Chris Liebing, Danny Tenaglia, Dubfire, Enzo Siragusa, Honey Dijon, Kenny Dope, Kyle Hall, Loco Dice, Mike Servito, Pan-Pot, Paul Raffaele, Radio Slave and Shahar on Saturday, July 2 and Sunday, July 3, 2016. The two day event will kick off both days during daylight hours at 4pm and continue way into the night at a secret location in Brooklyn that boasts both indoor and outdoor stages as well as a super cool underground basement with a speakeasy style bar decked out with amazing art installations.“We’re thrilled to bring back HYTE to NYC. From our techno origins in Berlin, we’re bringing the same intensity and passion for techno to all our fans in Brooklyn. This year’s lineup is unsurpassed with Berghain heavy hitters Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann going head to head, plus Hyte stalwarts Chris Liebing and Loco Dice. We’ve made sure to round out both days with some eclectic house, NYC legends and up-and-coming artists that will fully engage the dancefloors from start to finish.” – HYTE Partner/Founder Tom Preuss

On Saturday, July 2, HYTE NYC presents French super trio Apollonia, a special appearance from residents of Berlin’s notorious Berghain Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann going back to back for a highly anticipated techno showdown, Honey Dijon, known for her dexterity in mixing between warm, hypnotic house and techno, one-half of the legendary house duo Masters At Work Kenny Dope, trailblazing Detroit producer Kyle Hall, Desolat label boss Loco Dice, New York’s Bunker resident and GhostlyInternational DJ alum Mike Servito, and Rekids label founder Radio Slave.

On Sunday, July 3, the festival hosts techno pioneer and CLR label boss Chris Liebing, GRAMMY-nominated NYC legend Danny Tenaglia, techno and tech house visionary Dubfire, London’s house music mastermind Enzo Siragusa, Berlin’s multi-dimensional house and techno duo and HYTE Ibiza residents Pan-Pot, NYC dance music staple Paul Raffaele, and NYC rising techno talent Shahar.

Originating in Berlin, for the past three years the legendary HYTE Festival has gone from strength to strength boasting a weekly residency at infamous Ibiza club Amnesia and previous sold out shows in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin and New York. Following the success of its previous editions on Governors Island, HYTE NYC 2016 will this year take place in an as yet undisclosed location in an impressive three storey indoor/outdoor space in New York’s underground dance music capital, Brooklyn.

HYTE NYC is a part of RPM’s Big Week NYC Independence Day weekend event series, kicking off with Dutch trance legend Armin van Buuren setting the tone for what is sure to be an epic weekend of non-stop dancing.
