Earl Sweatshirt has unveiled a video of the exclusive one-on-one conversation he hosted at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA in Los Angeles with his mother and noted scholar, Professor Cheryl Harris, that boasted a capacity audience of over 650 fans and hundreds more lined up in attendance. The one-on-one conversation captured by UPROXX with Professor Harris [author of groundbreaking scholarship in the field of Critical Race Theory, including Whiteness as Property (Harvard Law Review) and the Arthur Gilbert Foundation Chair in Civil Rights and Civil Liberties at UCLA School of Law] was a candid discussion on art, music, life and more.
The event was an extension of a series of fan experiences Earl has been curating in Los Angeles around the release of his recent, critically-acclaimed project Feet of Clay via Tan Cressida / Warner Records. The MOCA event also featured exclusive merch and the 9-foot statue of Nebuchadnezzar, erected from the Feet of Clay concept and imagery that has been making its way through Los Angeles.
