Ahoy, landlubbers! Only a month before FRIENDSHIP 2020, time to head out on the water to celebrate the new decade like there’s no other.
When you have Gary Richards aka Destructo involved in an event, you always know the lineup will be filled with some of the best musicians carefully curated to make every dancing moment unforgettable. So when the lineup dropped for Friendship 2020, we did some digging and realized that Gary was back again with a list of up-and-coming talent that cannot be missed. With Friendship around the corner and a limited amount of cabins still available, we put together a playlist that will help those still undecided get on board with us for this January adventure.
FRIENDSHIP 2020 Playlist
Latmun, a tech-house and house producer who has been showcased by Carl Cox, Lee Foss, Green Velvet, and many others. Channel Tres, an LA producer and rapper who blends a mix of soulful dance music with hip-house and G-funk. Masteria, hailing from Detroit and bringing his heavy-hitting sound that has been picked up by Soul Clap and Deadmau5, which, for all those in the know, is a tough feat, as Joel is the pickiest of label heads. Then there’s a Night Bass and UKF staple Taiki Nulight from the UK, who melds Garage, Bass & House together for optimal face melt. Maximono, a former German D&B producer who jumped into the house scene bringing his unique bumpin’ sound that has been supported by such labels as This Ain’t Bristol, Dirtybird, Confession and Cuff.
Well, it’s time to begin our prep of costumes for the theme nights, perfect swimwear to rock on the private island, research the many water park rides available, and start planning the perfect crew to roll through to the sunrise sermon. We hope to see you all out in warm turquoise waters of the Bahamas.
