On Friday, September 23rd, The Church Nightclub in downtown Denver hosted a bright and unique show. Currently on a U.S. Tour, GTA (Good Times Ahead) made their pitstop at The Church nightclub to play some genre-defying music for their fans. GTA played genres like house, electro, bounce, future, big room trap and more. Giving the crowd exactly what they hoped for.

The Miami born and raised duo, Matt and Julio, both began producing electronic music out of their bedrooms until they were introduced to each other by a friend, bringing the two talented producers together to form GTA. After producing together for several years their music picked up traction and the duo embarked on small tours here and there, eventually leading to bigger tours. About two years ago GTA was invited on a worldwide tour with famous pop singer/songwriter Rhianna, the duos biggest tour so far, but perhaps not for long. Come October 7th, 2016 their newest album “Good Times Ahead” will be dropping for the world to hear, we’re expecting their most cohesive and unique work to date. More originals from GTA as well as some big named collaborations. When it came to showtime for GTA there were absolutely nothing in the air but positive vibes, amazing fans and insane music. The duo had the crowd jumping within ten seconds of being on stage. The set started with some very abstract trap music before getting into the big room house, hip hop, and hard trap. Towards the end of their set, they were joined by their tour companions Vindata and Team Ezy, as well as a surprise appearance from Kill The Noise after his Red Rocks set for Rowdytown 2016. GTA, Vindata, Ezy and Kill The Noise were all spinning back to back for about thirty minutes to conclude GTA’s stop here in Denver.

The Church Nightclubs staff and environment definitely played a big part in providing the audience with great sound, a solid lighting production, plenty of drinks and a huge dance floor. Being able to experience GTA’s sound and energy first person was nothing short of powerful. Keep your eyes and ears open for a stop in your city and be sure to check out the Good Times Ahead album dropping 10/7/16. Death to Genres!
