Musical Freedom Records continues a huge 2016 with this month’s Musical Freedom Radio guests DubVision.
Musical Freedom Radio gives artists the unique opportunity to step outside the box and put
together mixes we would not normally hear them play live. Highlights
from last year include Oliver Heldens’ classic disco set, Carnage taking
on drum & bass, and Don Diablo slowing it down in a chill 60-minute
set. This latest mix from DUBVISION is available now for free download exclusively on Musical
Freedom’s Soundcloud page.
According to DubVision, “When Musical Freedom asked us to do a guest mix for
MF Radio we decided to do something different. Indie music is a huge
inspiration for us, and the music we make. This mix contains songs with
indie, but also hip-hop and pop influences. The common thread throughout
these songs is that they bring out emotions, which is what we try to
achieve with our music. This is the kind of music we listen to on our
iPods.“
DubVision and Musical Freedom began 2016 with the massive release of “Sweet Harmony” on January 4th,
earning a spot on the overall Beatport Top 10. Starting at a tender age, the Dutch duo has been successfully tearing up dance floors around the
globe since their inception in 2010. Victor started experimenting with
electronic music using computer programs and in 2012, the siblings made
some of their first releases by collaborating with Project 46 on the
song “You & I.” They then dropped their first single “All By Myself”
in the same year. Since 2010 their career has not only blossomed but allowed the brothers to collaborate with the likes of Sander van Doorn, Martin Garrix,
and Dash Berlin.
