Multi-Platinum Producer Big Fish Teams Up With Kende for “Lose My Mind (feat. David Blank)” on New Noise

Prolific Italian beatmaker Big Fish teams up with Kende on their New Noise debut “Lose My Mind,” a retro electro-funk jam rife with vocoders and soaring vocals from David Blank.

With his ability to produce cutting-edge music across a wide breadth of genres, Big Fish has proven himself a force to be reckoned with. The 6-time Platinum producer has long been a staple in the contemporary Italian urban scene, but has recently emerged in the American dance music landscape with flying colors. After closing out 2015 with an official remix of Diplo’s hit single “Be Right There,” the Mad Decent label head brought him aboard his renowned “Diplo & Friends” radio show to kick off 2016 with an eclectic guest mix. Since then, Big Fish has become a frequent contributor to Mad Decent, most recently releasing his Aquadrop collaboration “Creepy Christmas (feat. KG Man)” on the A Very Decent Christmas 4 compilation. In addition to his impressive catalog, Big Fish also runs his own Doner Music imprint, an urban label and management entity he founded in 2006.

Joining Big Fish on “Lose My Mind” is young Swiss talent Kende, who has been making serious noise in the underground bass scene. Boasting an impressive sound blending elements of trap and future bass, he burst onto the scene in June 2016 with “Blank,” a high-flying cinematic trap collaboration with Taptone that has been streamed over 510K times on Soundcloud alone. Staying red-hot in what proved to be a breakthrough summer, Kende followed with a genre-defying official remix of Hoodboi’s “Closer (feat. ASTR)” on A-Trak’s Fools Gold Records. Furthermore, Kende was featured in DJ Mag Italia as an artist to watch in 2017, a well-deserved honor for the diligent beatmaker.

New Noise is Dim Mak’s new music discovery imprint that focuses on cutting edge sounds from burgeoning artists across the genre spectrum. Launched in 2010, New Noise got its start as a compilation series highlighting fresh faces handpicked by Steve Aoki and crew. By 2015, the platform evolved into a bi-weekly, free-download model based on singles. New Noise’s current incarnation is a copyright free model that allows the budding community of Twitch gamers and amateur YouTube content creators to use New Noise music in their videos and live streams sans purchase or fees, all in exchange for linking back to the artists and their music.
