Just when you thought it was safe to unpack your sweaters and start drinking PSLs (please no), EDX drops ‘Sillage,’ the final hit of the summer. ‘Sillage’ is a synthy track featuring a tribal drum beat, the kind of track that transports you out of rainy NYC and right onto the beach in Ibiza at sunset.

If this track sounds a little familiar, you’ll remember that he ended his incredible Tomorrowland set with the newly released hit. It was a perfect send-off to one of my favorite sets of the weekend. Which you can relive right here:

Maurizio Colella, better known as EDX, has been busy this summer. He’s currently in the midst of his Make Me Feel Summer Tour, where he’s packed in upwards of forty shows (including multiple White Isle performances at Ushuaïa and Hï) before the end of September.

It’s certainly been a busy one for EDX – but that hasn’t stopped him from releasing great music.

That’s right. 2018 has been a good year for EDX – his three releases this year have all topped the official Beatport charts within days of the release. This includes ‘Jaded,’ ‘Anthem’ and his well-received remix for Janelle Monae’s “Make Me Feel.” With 25 years under his belt at the forefront of the industry, we can expect no less from EDX.

‘Sillage’ is out now via Spinnin’ Deep. You can find me listening to it for the next few months thoroughly denying that the seasons are changing. And you can find EDX on Instagram and Facebook.
