Booka Shade Presents Movements 10 North American Tour: Celebrating Reissue and 10th Anniversary of Movements LP
In October 2006, German duo Booka Shade released Movements LP, their influential full-length release that defined the electronic sound of an era and would kickstart the pair’s career. With noted singles including “Night Falls,” “In White Rooms,” “Mandarine Girl” and the illustrious “Body Language,” Movements would amass acclaim from critics, peers and audiences alike. With this year marking the tenth anniversary of the famed release, Booka Shade celebrates with a reissue of the LP on Movements 10, giving its classic track list a modern remaster and updated remixes from esteemed artists Nils Frahm, Patrick Topping, Eats Everything, Dennis Ferrer, Deetron, Jonas Rathsman, Andhim and more.
In addition to the reissue, Booka Shade has continued to celebrate with their fans this year through the debut of their live production. Following special appearances at Barcelona’s Sonar, SW4 in London, and Open Air Festival in Zurich, the duo is now poised to bring their performance stateside. Announcing their Movements 10 North American Tour, Booka Shade will bring their signature sound and stunning productions across a select run of dates in both the United States and Canada. With support from Doorly, the duo will perform at storied locations in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Chicago and more.
