The second single from Barclay Crenshaw’s self-titled album is violent haunting and beautiful
“Gene Sequence” is inspired by another unexplained diagram from the past. It’s hard to decipher the image exactly but blood vessel maps of the human form are drawn with symbols and strands resembling genetic code, like an ancient guide studying our species. Additional imagery suggests an extraterrestrial influence and leaves us with more unanswered questions about the project.
