Maximillian, opens up about his past and faces his own flaws and mistakes on ‘Beautiful Scars’ – his first official new single of 2019!

It is his velvet-like voice combined with his deeply personal lyrics, that is making Maximillian one to watch for the year to come. Not afraid to express deep emotions through his songwriting, Maximillian has learned to face the music and a reality that saw him standing at a crossroads at a very early stage in his life.

Maximillia – Beautiful Scars

Brand new single, ‘Beautiful Scars’, a page out of his life story!

“I made a lot of bad decisions, hung out with the wrong people and did a lot of things I regret. I literally lived a life on the edge at the age of 13 and “Beautiful Scars” is me facing my life growing up. It’s about how I used to behave and treat people around me. How we all have inner demons that sometimes burst out in the world with no warning,” Maximillian explains. And though he might regret things he has done, Maximillian has learned to live with his flaws: “I believe it’s important to embrace your demons. No one’s perfect – so embrace that – and live your life as good as you possibly can!”

From humble beginnings in Copenhagen, the journey, life and music of Maximillian, has been shaped by leaving space for mistakes, life-changing lessons and the discovery of the ability to create your own fate.

Earlier this year, Maximillian released the live session for his song ‘Hold On’ that made another significant online buzz including a Track of the Day feature on CLASH. Maximillian has received amazing reaction and widespread online success of earlier releases, ‘Higher’, ‘Feelings’, and ‘Strangers’ hitting sites like The Line of Best Fit (UK)Hillydilly (US)and Kaltblut (DE)

‘Beautiful Scars’ is the first official single from Maximillian in 2019 – a year that will see the young musician release more music than ever.
