Sensation release ‘Angels and Demons’ 2016 Official Aftermovie
On July 3rd, the Amsterdam ArenA held the world premiere of the new show from Sensation: ‘Angels and Demons’. For the first time in history, visitors were dressed in both white and black attire, symbolizing the contradiction of good versus evil. Sensation fans are invited to relive this extraordinary evening in the Official Sensation Amsterdam 2016 Aftermovie.
In this tantalizing three-and-a-half-minute recap, what begins off with black and white visuals in and around the ArenA showcasing the calm before the storm, sets the tone as guests begin to arrive to the iconic venue for an industrial yet eerie atmosphere. As the angels and demons enter the arena and the night begins to fall, the Amsterdam ArenA comes to life. Kicking off the aftermovie into full force with the climax of the evening where between Mr. White and YAX.X go head to head in the ultimate DJ battle. Show elements were reinforced with a strong diverse international lineup consisting of David Guetta, Nicky Romero, Yellow Claw, Don Diablo, Robin Schulz, Mr White & YAX.X and Sam Feldt.
“By using LED wristbands, which the visitors wore on their wrists, it was possible to accentuate the different dress code colors. The LED bracelets were illuminated in multiple colors throughout the entire ArenA. By controlling the wristbands in the same color, we could unite the two dress codes. This was a very exiting experience and it looked incredibly beautiful! We have been working on this show for a year, so it was really cool to see everything fall into place.” – Sander Vermeulen, Sensation Show Director.
What began in 2000 as a one-off event in the Amsterdam ArenA, is now an international phenomenon. Until now, Sensation has toured 35 countries and welcomed over two million visitors worldwide.
