The debut single from Musical Freedom’s sub-label, the highly-anticipated “NUNGWI” by BLR is out now on AFTR:HRS. Initially teased over the airwaves by both Pete Tong and Danny Howard of BBC Radio 1 as an ID, last month the release’s identity was revealed. Crafted by BLR, an alias side-project of a producer yet to be announced, “NUNGWI” features rolling kicks, deep humming bass, and echoing sweeps, continuing Musical Freedom’s standard for excellence into its deeper counterpart.

Launched by Tiësto in 2009, Musical Freedom has stood as a platform for diverse and emerging sounds since its creation. Serving as a hub for both dance music’s biggest players and its freshest faces, the label boasts a roster filled with a variety of talent including Oliver Heldens, The Chainsmokers, KSHMR, Martin Garrix and more. Now in its seventh year, Musical Freedom continues to innovate with the introduction of AFTR:HRS, the sister label to Musical Freedom. AFTR:HRS is focused on maintaining the high caliber of releases that Musical Freedom fans have become accustomed to while providing its listeners with new aesthetics and deeper sounds.
